My name is Jessie, and I'm an nineteen-year-old photographer who's been in love with photography for approximately nineteen years. Okay, that's an exaggeration. However, I was fairly young when i first felt the early hints of my passion. As a child, I would waddle around with my family's teal point-and-shoot camera, chasing after the colorful landscapes behind our home. When I was thirteen-years-old, my passion experienced a massive growth spurt, and it has been blossoming ever since.
As an artist, I strive to capture truth. My images reflect the heart of their subject whether I be creating a work of fine art or photographing a senior as they embark on their most significant grade school year.
In recent years, as I've matured as an artist, my work has received great recognition from various publications such as Photographer's Forum and Hapa Mag. Additionally, my work has earned multiple awards, including the U.S. Congressional Art Competition Award for my district for which my piece currently hangs in the halls of the U.S. Congress building.
